Langtons Hotel Kilkenny

Good location. Free parking behind hotel. Good restaurant.

Not the quietest if at front of hotel - traffic noise. We stayed mid week and it wasn't busy - but its bars and restaurants facilities are massive, so I suspect could become a problem at weekends ?

Fab hotel. Huge bedroom and bathroom all very modern. Food in restaurant was excellent. In the write-up for the hotel it states "car park nearby". The hotel has its own large carpark at the rear of the hotel!

The staff were very nice and the location quite good. Very nice beer garden.

There were a series of small things that I was disappointed about, ie having to haul our luggage up two flights of stairs, being locked out on the street for about 10 minutes at 11.50pm on the first night, our room not being cleaned until I had to chase up the cleaner at 3pm one of the days, not enough cold buffet selection at breakfast. Apart from this though it was a nice hotel, just not 4 star in my opinion.

Room in main house could use an upgrade. Without air conditioning on in the room, it seemed musty. Very noisy to lock/unlock the room.

very relaxing atmosphere and the meals we ate there were excellent value for money and delicious could not fault the hotel one bit

I was pleased with every aspect of my stay there.

the room was impressive and fairly quiet with whirlpool bath and couch, for instance, everything was spotless. great location close to everything to see in kilkenny made it easy to get to key attractions.

When we arrived I had the print out from Booked.net with me but the hotel did not have a record of our booking. They upgraded us to a suite to make up for the inconvenience after we arrived without us asking for it. We found the staff to be very friendly. Location is ideal. The band that played there on the Thursday night were outstanding.

The service is amazing, food amazing, beds were huge, fab facilities.

In the hotel the walls were a bit thin so you could hear everything going on. We were disappointed the nightclub was shut as there was a wedding on.

Gorgeous & beautifully maintained unit with nice big bed, an incredible bathroom and a seating area in the window.

The hotel is lovely, we had a garden room and it was gorgeous, quiet and had a great shower. The bed was massive too. Decor in the rooms was great and the food was lovely. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice.

We heard some of the rooms in the main hotel were a bit shabby and noisy above the street. These were family rooms. One bad point was there was a lot of commotion outside our window in the mornings, sounded like heavy trolleys being dragged along the cobbles.

Amazing venue, delicious food, attentive staff.

The hotel was out of this world, best v alue for m,on ey, staff couldnt do enough for us. I will never stay anywhere else when in kilkenny
